Naturally, some of the more well-known stories from The Bible involve the man they consider his greatest King, David. Although, oddly enough, except for parts of an ongoing TV series I saw on The Trinity Channel, I haven't seen much in the way of films dealing with David. Oh well.
The BOYS' LIFE series covered David's life 9 times, beginning with the 2nd episode, going all the way back to October 1952! It then cropped up again less than a year later, in August 1953, but as that dealt with events some time after the previous episode, I don't consider it a separate version, but rather a continuation of it-- which just happens to have appeared 10 months later.
